The article offers a reflection on Mexican artwork represented at several exhibitions including the 2003 Bienal de Venecia, held in Venice, Italy, and the I Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo, held February 10-14, 2005, in Madrid, Spain. The author considers the relationship between art and changes in Mexican politics after the 2003 Mexican election. Several photographs of the exhibitions are included.
