- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the atihistamines, decongestants and nasal irrigation for acute sinusitis in children. It mentions that upper respiratory infections occurs more in children above then five years, and states the use of maxillary sinus aspirate for diagnosis of acute bacterial sinusitis. It also mentions that according to the clinical practice guideline American Academy of Pediatrics management and diagnosis of acute bacterial sinusitis in children aged one to 18 years.
