- Abstract
The article presents a study on beliefs, experiences, and involvement of non-francophone (NF) parents who have children studying in french minority language schools. It states that the French minority language schools play an important role in the maintenance and survival of the French language and culture across Canada. According to NF parents, the reason for choosing a French school includes developing bilingualism, improving employment opportunities, and benefit from small classroom sizes.
