- Title
Reflecting on India's Highest Court Ruling on Kashmir.
- Authors
SAFI, ABDUL MUSSAWER
- Abstract
The article discusses the recent ruling by India's highest court on the Kashmir dispute. It highlights that the Indian Supreme Court's decision to abrogate Article 370 and bifurcate Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories goes against the global recognition of the region as a disputed territory. The article argues that India's actions in Kashmir violate United Nations resolutions and the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people. It calls for the United Nations to intervene and fulfill its commitments to protect the Kashmiri populace from further injustice and persecution.
