- Abstract
Kumyk Turkish has been the coomon language of the people living in the area of Caucasus Until the end of 19. Century, having had the attention of many researchers. Many Turkologists such as I. N. Berezin, F. E. Kors, G. Nemeth and B. Çobanzade had carried out studies on Kumyks ,who are one of the Turkish communities living in Northern Caucasus. One of the studies on Kumyk Turkish was a grammar book named Tatarskaya Grammatika Kavkazskago Nareçiya by Timofey Nikitiç Makarov that had been carried out in the 19th century. In this study, various remarks and evaluations were made related to foreign words in grammar book. In 1938, a new alphabet had been imposed by the Russians and the alphabet problems since than continued .The problems had also been decifered by a Russian author of the Tatarskaya Grammatika Kavkazskago Nareçiya
