- Abstract
The article explores how Gujarati novelist Jayanti M. Dalal depicts nature of the Indian nationhood through his literary works. Some of his novels translated into the English language include "Ordeal of Innocence," "Spatial Echoes" and "Bleeding Heights of Kargil." The way he addresses topics which include Indian family values, ideal characteristics of Hindu women, and religious principles in his novels is also discussed.
