- Title
Psycho-Social Aspects of the ADJUSTMENT OF THE BRAIN-INJURED.
- Authors
Newland, T. Ernest
- Abstract
The article discusses the psychological-social aspects of adjustment in brain-injured children. It is noted that the behavior of the handicapped can be more sensitive to differences than to similarities in certain behavior. Regardless of the psychological complexities of the processes, a group's reactions to the individual are part of a learning process. It has been recognized that learning plays an important part in attitude formation and in the development of new attitudes. The learning process also occurs in an interstimulating relationship.
