- Abstract
The article discusses the study which shows that the orbital prefrontal cortex lesions in macaques kept behavioral flexibility and emotional processing. It elaborates various theories of orbital prefrontal cortex (OFC) including emotional regulation, OFC idea for inhibitory control of behavior and flexibility in changing environment. It also mentions that the impairments that associated prefrontal damage is in adaptive behavior.
