- Abstract
The article offers the author's views on the journal "J Journal: New Writing on Criminal Justice." He says that the journal features correspondents from incarcerated men and women, who want to be heard. He adds that the writings provides honest reports of human lives, unsentimental meaning of prison, and quiet poems and prose of plans and dreams. He notes that with the difficulties to write in prison, they acknowledge the efforts of prison writers by sending them a copy of the "J Journal."
