Title
Clown-Colored Harlequin Bugs Are No Joke.
Abstract
The article discusses the study conducted by researchers Don Weber and Ashot Khrimian on the creation of a synthetic version of the aggregation pheromone of Harlequin bugs in an effort to supercharge bug control. The synthetic pheromone will be used as a lure to trap the bugs or to enhance trap crops. Murgantiol, the chemical structure of the bug's aggregation pheromone, is noted to have a potential for various three-dimensional forms which are known as stereoisomers.
