- Abstract
The article focuses on the form of sex discrimination present in The Indian Act in which children of unstated paternity are being denied of an Indian status registration and treaty rights. It offers the story of the author and other indigenous women who gave efforts in eliminating the sex discrimination in the paternity policy in Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada.
