- Abstract
The local jobs and skills-based strategic workforce planning (GPECT) approaches involve the participation of actors from different sectors of activity in order to build a project that meets the employment and skills needs of a region or a local community. This research questions the emerging qualitative effects of “GPECT”’s approaches in terms of collaborative work. The analysis of three “GPECT” projects, studied through the lens of cross-sector collaboration, identifies effects of internal structuring, strengthening the collaboration of actors at the level of the sector and support for the deployment of regional strategies in terms of employment and skills management.
