- Authors
Ganz, Patricia A.; Casillas, Jacqueline N.
- Abstract
The authors offer insights on a study published within the issue which investigated the risk of adult cancer survivors for subsequent primary cancers (SPC). Topics discussed include the use of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program data in this study, the standardized incidence ratio and standardized mortality ratio estimated, and the need for primary care clinicians to acknowledge SPC risk in all cancer survivors.
