- Abstract
The article reports on a case regarding the significance of telemedicine as a multidisciplinary management of a pediatric cardiac emergency. A 12-day-old baby was found to have cardiac murmur with signs of cardiac failure. The baby has undergone teleconsultation and realtime echocardiogram to diagnose disease thereby, determine appropriate treatment. Accordingly, the report found that telemedicine is a useful technique in emergency management.
