- Abstract
The article discusses sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and the possible extension of the FCPA to SWFs' investments in U.S. financial services companies as of September 2011. An analysis of the FCPA's foreign official and instrumentalities terminology is provided, along with a call for the U.S. Congress to amend the FCPA to incorporate a dominant influence tests regarding American corporations.
