- Abstract
Kızıldeli (Seyyid Ali) Soltan Zaviye which is situated Dimetoka in Greece today is analized in this research. The state of one of the Bektashi Zaviye, Kızıldeli Zaviye between 1401-1826 is examined through the sourches of Ottoman Archive documents. The establishment and the foundation of this Zaviye are documented according to the sons (evlâdları) of the founder, Zaviye's connection to religious sect, Kızıldeli nick name and customshouse, archive license documents, and other sourches. As a result, it has been found out that Kızıldeli Zaviye is accepted to Ottoman judiciary system with a domain document given by Soltan Bayezid I. The Zaviye's privileges and exemptions were determined by Musa Çelebi's "biti" (1412), and it has been seen that the foundation was established on the territory given to Seyyid Ali Soltan who founded and transferred it to his sons. This order and regulation continued on until 1826. While most of the Zaviye Foundations were closed down around 1826, most of the properties of Kızıldeli Zaviye were layed hands, but the Zaviye was not totally closed. The administration of the Zaviye was left to Evkâf-ı Hümayun.
