- Abstract
Traditionally, Coulter-type hematology analyzers counted these cells as lymphocytes due to their similarity in size.[2] It is still unclear how different modern hematology analyzers deal with NRBCs in veterinary medicine. With the CellaVision system, most NRBCs were also recognized (57% NRBCs were estimated), and all cells reported as NRBC were correctly identified. Top table: The first column shows the WBC differential count and the number of nucleated red blood cells (NRBCs) (*NRBC per 100 WBC).
