- Abstract
The article reports on the update from the International Head and Neck Cancer Epidemiology Consortium (INHANCE) on the issue of interaction between tobacco and alcohol exposure rate on head and neck cancer risk. It provides a summary which states that previous studies on the interaction of the two exposures is difficult to recognize and a quantitative assessment of the differential risks is lacking. It also suggests a further investigation of factors that causes oral cavity and pharynx cancer.
