- Abstract
In this article, the author focuses on the foreign policies of Turkey. It includes information on Turkey's prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who changed the foreign policy of the country in 2003 up to an extent that it was considered that Turkey's relation with United States and various countries in Europe was at risk. The author discusses the three roles defined in Turkey by regional and international integration including the strengthening of Turkey's position in the Western camp of which Ankara, Turkey wanted to be member of, confronting the danger that arise from regional conflict and protecting its national interest considered danger in autonomy of the Kurds in Iraq and Cyprus.
