- Abstract
The article examines the laws related to voting rights of persons with mental disabilities in Australia. Topics discussed include need of law governing political franchise without discrimination against persons with mental disabilities; domestic and international trends in adult guardianship and the political rights of persons with mental disabilities; and Japanese legal framework for guardianship, capacity, and voting.
