The article examines the remaining gaps in legal system integration in relation to domestic and family violence in Australia. It mentions the legal system structures that help build protection for children and women from abuse including community legal centres, legal aid units and court advocacy services. Also mentioned is the impacts of Family Law Act (FLA) to the decision making on the victim's safety.
