- Abstract
The article focuses on specific practices by entrepreneurial claim markets that generated large volumes of dubious claims and places them in the context of the mass tort litigation environments where they have emerged. It examines the specious claim markets in modern aggregate litigation and offers solutions for controlling these markets in collective settlements. It discusses the role of courts in monitoring and settlement of these claims.
