- Abstract
The article discusses the court case Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Co. v. White addressing a dispute among the lower courts with regards to Title VII's anti-retaliation provision in the U.S. It notes that the Supreme Court identifies the composition of actionable retaliation against Shiela White under Title VII. The court finds the employer liable for harassment by a supervisor subjected to an affirmative defense.
