- Authors
STEINMILLER-PERDOMO, ERICA
- Abstract
The article discusses the legal aspects of pre-embyos in the in vitro fertilization (IVF) process in America as of 2015, and it mentions litigation involving disputes over frozen pre-embryos, legislative proposals in places such as Florida, and the author's claim that Florida should recognize personhood for pre-embryos in order to facilitate dispute resolution. The enforcement of prior IVF-related agreements between parties is examined, along with U.S. due process and equal protection rights.
