- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of the vacatur laws to help human trafficking victims to advance in their lives. Under the laws, the criminal records of human trafficking survivors could be cleared. Also cited are the state of human trafficking issue in the U.S., the proposed Trafficking Survivors Relief Act filed in the Senate to help trafficking survivors, and the United Nations Protocol to Prevent, Suppress, and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children.
