- Title
FIRST CENTURY INCLUSIVE LANGUAGE.
- Authors
Canavan, Rosemary
- Abstract
The article examines the specific language used within the Pauline house church communities to know the members' relationship with one another. The author hypothesizes that the distinct use of Pauline household language and the location of gatherings in the houses pave the way for a new set of relationships based on a fictive kinship. This setting has also made it easier for women to assume leadership roles alongside men.
