- Title
Chapter 1. Colonel Wedgwood and the History of Parliament.
- Abstract
The article discusses a questionnaire sent out by British politician Colonel Josiah Wedgwood in July 1936 to members and former members of the British parliament who served up to 1918. It examines the context of the questionnaire within the larger "History of Parliament" project, which was supposed to be a biographical dictionary of members of parliament beginning in 1264. The article reflects on Wedgwood's own parliamentary career and his work in the field of parliamentary history.
