- Abstract
The present investigation considered students, teachers and parents of 85 Public Education Units and 16 Private Units of District 23D02 of the Santo Domingo canton, in Ecuador, in order to know to what extent technology is used as a mediator for the development of the process teaching and learning, it was also intended to explore the mastery demonstrated by students of basic computer skills that allow them to perform different tasks through the computer. A qualitative and quantitative methodology was used to evaluate the phenomenon studied using the percentage analysis, as well as to interpret the results obtained, while the scope of the research developed was fundamentally descriptive causal.
