- Abstract
The article discusses the artistic expressions employed in the liturgy which find their source in human nature and the experience of the Catholic church by examining the case of the Gregorian chant in the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church. The author speaks of human nature as directed toward the truth and the good in an attempt to understand how all art has certain orientation toward the Lord. He explains the connection between art and Christ in relation to the fundamental relationship between humanity and Christ.
