The article offers information on the research report "Government Space Markets: World Prospects to 2022" by Euroconsult, an international consulting and analyst firm, which reveals the increase in government spending on space by 72.9 billion U.S. dollars as of 2012. The report also revealed that government space programs should be affected by flat spending and decrease in global funding. The upswing in the market is due to increase in activities of countries including Russia, China and India.
