- Abstract
The article focuses on the development of a miniaturized and broadband impedance transformer on SI radio frequency integrated circuit for low impedance transformation in ultra-wideband in the U.S. A multi-section transformer has been fabricated using a periodically arrayed grounded-strip on silicon substrate to realize a low impedance and miniaturized on-chip transformer. Meanwhile, the ultra broadband operation was designed with the use of the Chebyshev polynomials design technique.
