- Abstract
The author reflects on the importance of quality care given by caregivers to critically-ill patients in Canada. The author says that several aspects such as timely and honest conversations are required during end-of-life care. She adds that advance care preparation, improved hospital programs, and home-based end-of-life care are effective strategies to enhance dying experience of elders.
