- Abstract
The article discusses the sovereignty issues of the Arctic Region which concerns the U.S. and Canada. According to the authors, Canada need to tackle security and sovereignty issues on the Arctic Region for three reasons: natural resources explorations, possible new transit routes and Russia's aggressive claims on the region. Canada and the U.S. should cooperate to formulate policies that would protect their interests on the Arctic from countries like Russia.
