- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's (BuRec's) commissioning the American painter Norman Rockwell to depict the Glen Canyon Dam, Arizona in his 1969 painting titled "Glen Canyon Dam" during the late 1960s. An overview of the BuRec public relations (PR) specialist John DeWitt's plan to depict the aforementioned dam to improve the Bureau of Reclamation's public relations, including PR specialist Bud Rusho's perspective in this regard, is provided.
