- Abstract
The article focuses on the procedural and substantive conflicts between bankruptcy and antitrust in the context of bankruptcy fire sales because of the increasing frequency of potentially anticompetitive mergers and acquisitions in bankruptcy. It mentions that the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Butner v. United States for constituents of the bankruptcy estate. It also mentions that the U.S. Bankruptcy Code Section 363(b) for the sale of assets.
