The article discusses the importance of neuroscience research and its link to education. It examines the possible pitfalls of applying neuroscience research in the classroom such as the troubling consequence of the Mozart effect called neuromyths and the gap between neuroscience and education. Suggestions for Kodály-trained educators to evaluate research themselves include determination of the power of the study, the design, and support of the duration to claims.
