- Authors
Rimmasch, Meghan
- Abstract
The article discusses the issue of rebellion as presented in the William Shakespeare plays "Julius Caesar" and "Richard II." It claims that the rebellions in the play were plotted by a group of nobles who think that their Kings are either heading to a monarchy or no longer have the ability to govern effectively. It presents other works with rebellion as a subject, including the "An Homily Against Disobedience and Willful Rebellion."
