- Abstract
An interview with cancer researcher Jason Weber is presented. He discusses his career in breast cancer research. Issues related to cuts in funding by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) are addressed. The impact of U.S. government budget sequestration on laboratory (lab) research is noted. He mentions a conversation he had with U.S. Senator Dick Durbin after he wrote an opinion piece in the newspaper "St. Louis Post-Dispatch."
