- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the importance of disagreements and arguments on consensus reports in science-based policy-making in the U.S. He is critical on Washington, D. C.-based Bipartisan Policy Center's report "Geoengineering: A National Strategic Plan for Research on Climate Remediation" which shows discussions and sets out principles and recommendations. He notes the significance of science in providing better value to politics through interpretations, perspectives, and options.
