- Abstract
The article presents a study of a patient with metastatic lung adenocarcinoma who was placed on immunotherapy with nivolumab and his fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) showed an almost complete metabolic response and revealed the occurrence of a hypermetabolic infiltration surrounding the abdominal artery and primary iliac arteries. It mentions retroperitoneal fibrosis which is a rare disease characterized by an inflammatory cells proliferation.
