The article introduces six simple pastoral songs by Czech cantor and composer Jiří Ignác Linek (1725–1791). Theme of pastoral songs is intended for feast of The Three Kings. First, individual pastoral songs are presented and shortly analyzed. Next part of the article deals with their inclusion and use in music education. In conclusion, attention is paid to the problem of vocal interpretation by the choirs of elementary and high schools. The apendix contains scores of all pastoral songs.
