- Abstract
This case illustrates the feasibility of endovascular treatment for chronic venous insufficiency attributable to congenital atresia of the infrarenal inferior vena cava (IVC). Three-dimensional computed tomography (CT) venography can elucidate alternate sites of drainage and indentify other venous pathology, such as dominant stenoses that may be amenable to venoplasty and/or stent placement.
