- Title
THE THEOLOGY AND PROVENANCE OF JOHN 15:1-17.
- Authors
Segovia, Fernando F.
- Abstract
The article analyzes the discourse of Jesus Christ seen in the New Testament gospel passage of John 15:1-17. Topics addressed include the argument that the discourse must have been delivered after the departure from the supper room but prior to the crossing of the Kidron valley, problems with the historicizing approach to the passage, and the Johannine exegetes' opting for a theory of additions to the original discourse.
