International Banking and the IMF: Readjustment Required.
Abstract
The article presents an interview with Lamberto Dini in Cambridge, Massachusetts. When asked about the sustainment of loan assessment procedures, he states that they did it to cater to the needs of domestic customers and the procedure does not involve any risks. Dini believes that the evolution of the roles and functions of International Monetary Fund will be in moderation. He commented that the high interests rate brought an impact on the willingness of banks to lend.
