- Abstract
The article focuses on the Better Jobs Better Care (BJBC) initiative developed by the Atlantic Philanthropies (Atlantic) and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). It states that the five-year national initiative is worth $15.5 million which aims to improve retention and recruitment of high-quality direct care workers in nursing homes. It mentions that the initiative uses two components which is the demonstration programs for implementation of practice interventions and applied research programs for supporting workplace innovations studies. It adds that Atlantic and RWJF are committed to improve the lives of the most vulnerable individuals especially those in the aging population.
