- Abstract
This study analyzes the correlation between stress levels and concentrated attention in students in the beginning and end conditions of the school period seeking to know the differences of these variables in students who perform different activities. The sample considers two groups - beginning (50 participants) and ending (51 participants) of period - and consisting of students from different courses, being 65.4% of participants female. Data analysis was performed using the 19th version of the IBM SPSS Statistics software, which allowed for descriptive and inferential studies. The results showed that stress and attention at the beginning and end of the period do not correlate (p> 0.05). However, considerable variations between groups were observed as the variation of stress and attention among students of different courses, differences in stress between those who work and volunteer, and those who have children or not.
