The article discusses developments in the University of the Third Age (U3A) program in Great Britain as of mid-December 2016. It claims that the first U3A was established in the town of Churchdown in Gloucestershire, England. It claims that the program shows the eagerness of the country's older population to continuously learn. Also cited is the comment by former Churchdown councillor Derek Fisher on the developments.
