The article discusses the college curricula for accounting students, with an emphasis on how it can be changed to better prepare students for the business world. Particular consideration is given to how the content of the Institute of Management Accountants' (IMA's) Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam can serve as the basis for an undergraduate track in management accounting.
