- Abstract
This article focuses on the Teachability Project and tools to enable librarians and information professionals to make their teaching sessions accessible to participants with disabilities. The website of the Teachability Project includes quotations from disabled students and academic staffers, information about disability legislation and a checklist for evaluation of teaching practice. Course design that takes into consideration potential barriers for disabled students is discussed. Accommodation tools and equipment are mentioned.
