This article aims at undenstanding the treatment given to fruits, a recurrent sign in the poetics of three women poets, the Brazilian poet Adélia Prado, the Portuguese Adília Lopes and the Angolan Paula Tavares. Through a comparatist methodological approach, it will be possible to trace how fruits are associated to feminine symbolism, related or not to the cultural blemish of the original sin.
